This weekend/upcoming week is a busy one. Conference Friday through Sunday, two tests on Monday both math, a party on Monday night and a Colombia trip from Thursday all the way through and past Thanksgiving break where I return to school Tuesday just in time for final review. It’s like aaahhhh … then stop.

I’m looking at both my old cms and this new cms. I’m trying to decide whether the conversion is really worth it. So far I like my design a little bit more because of course it’s a hell of a lot more active. It’s alive it screams at you “hey look at me!” I guess that’s all front-end design though, it can always be changed … right?
Things I liked about this new cms would have to be the whole database deal. I actually feel just a little bit safer knowing that my files are in a database as opposed to some text file. I’m also digging the calendar on the sidebar. Now that’s just cool. Well I’ll continue to ad to this list of pros and cons.

It’s almost 2am right now, should be asleep. I’m messing with this “wordpress” program ’cause it seems interesting and something I might enjoy learning from. I haven’t decided yet if I want to fully convert to this “software” it’s doing a pretty good job of convincing me though. For the most part I seem to like the program, the only reason I really haven’t grown into it yet is probably because I don’t know enough about it yet all that well. Or atleast that’s what I’m assuming. Ok, that’s all for now. I’ll continue to learn and do my best to convince myself.

Here we go again. Yet another big edit to the eloyz.com domain. Ok well maybe not a huge change, but still it’s a change. I’ve been using a content manager for the last year or so that’s done me good. It’s given me an idea of what’s possible with an interatice (non-static) website. I likes. I never thought updating sites could be so easy. I’m going to attempt to switch my content manager because I feel this new one has more to offer. Unfortunantly you’re probably going to have to deal with my learning curve once again. So without further … blah … here we go.
