Movie: The Break Up

“I don’t want you to wash the dishes I want you to want to wash the dishes.”

It’s honest phrases like these that grab my attention, ladies listen up ’cause … this is what you sound like. If you can’t wait for this movie coming out this friday, you can always watch others Break Up Videos.

Google Video is letting you upload your own “Break Up Videos.”

Japanese Music

I wouldn’t call my self an explorer by any means, but I’ve been out of the U.S. a couple of times and I always find it strange how others countries listen to “American Music.” It’s like hey, listen to your own French people … why are you listening to our stuff when you don’t even understand it.  Now I know how they feel.
I don’t understand a word out of this girls mouth, but it’s o’ so lovely to jam out to. Eri Nobuchika 信近エリ is Japanese ( I really think so), she’s becoming quite the popular on MTV - Japan with her anonymous-genre music that I can’t seem to peg. Listen to lights or listen to voice.

Comments & Easier Login

I’ve added some features.

Latest Comments
As most of you may have noticed, there is a new section on the side bar named “latest comments.” If you haven’t figured it out by now, it simply displays who made the last 5 comments.

I added this tiny feature because I noticed that friends would make comments on articles that are not-so-new and those comment would go unread or even worse, unnoticed. That ain’t right. So now seeing the latest comment is just a glance away.

Easier Login
If you “login” and you come back to the frontpage, you can’t “login” anymore. The only option you have is to logout and re-login unless you remember the url to the admin page. I’m lazy just like everyone else, and unless it’s convenient … I’ll usually avoid it. With that in mind I’ve started an easier login process.

A login link is now available at the top of the sidebar right about the “about” section. Clicking on this link will take you to the login page and holding “ALT+L” will also take you to the login page. Try it now … do it … do it now. The link only displays on the front page, but the ALT+L shortcut should work anywhere in blog.eloyz.com.

Links Before I Leave

Birthdays … two of them. Marlena … she rocks, Carlos … don’t give him anything sharp. Happy Birthday ladies. :) If you click on the links … please leave a comment … and if you leave a comment tell them www.eloyz.com sent you.

I’m sure most of you have seen this crazy dance video, but it’s always a joy to watch.

I got a dollar bill the other day, it was stamped with a website address. I went to the site and found out that you can actually track money and find out how far it goes.

I’ll be in New York for a week, I hope these can keep you semi-entertained till then.

What are you doing after finals?

If you happen to get bored and have nothing to do, you could always attach a really huge jet engine on the back of a Volkswagon Beetle. Its not practical with jet fuel prices and all, but hell what is practical these days.

This guy named Ron Patrick happened to have had one of these jet engines in his backyard (well not originally in his backyard, he bought it for $600,000 and got it mailed to his back yard) and decided to go ahead and put it in the rear end of his Beetle. After careful planning he mounted the engine and tried it out. He says “the fun is not necessarily how fast you want to go. The fun is the sound of the thing. Just starting it up, it’s like a (Boeing) 747 landing in your front yard”. Take a look. (there’s a movie too!)

Creative Advertising

I’ve seen some creative ads out there, but this one takes the cake … well the money. Well actualy and technically it just keeps the money. 3M Safetly glass got creative and decided to tease their audience. Girls tease all the time, teasing I can handle, but this is down right torture.

May Day

So today was May 1st. A “special” day for a good number of people. I’m happy to say that I did my part by not going to work today. Of course I only work on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays … but that’s besides the point. What matters is, that I’m Hispanic and that I have papers. Oops, did I say that out loud? I am sorry to say that I was in school all day today, and did not get to take any pictures of this mad-house of an event. So what else can we do but enjoy other peoples immigration pictures.
