Ask a deeply religious Christian if he’d rather live next to a bearded Muslim that may or may not be plotting a terror attack, or an atheist that may or may not show him how to set up a wireless network in his house. On the scale of prejudice, atheists don’t seem so bad lately.

Ooh, tough one.
If I was a full-on Christian, I`d probably have to say the Muslim, as it isn’t proven he may be an extremist (you said may or may not), but at least I’d respect him for being a religious person, whereas I may feel no respect for the atheist as a non-religious person.
As an athiest though, I`d rather live next to the Christian, as there’s less chance of him being an extremist, though probably would be just as annoying as any other really religious person.
